Birth companion/ Doula
According to the guidelines of the association with whom I am in the process of certifying (GfG), my package includes two prenatal appointments where wel talk about your thoughts and concerns about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We’ll create an initial list of birth preferences and also discuss a postpartum plan you can share with those who’ll support you afterwards. I will be exclusively on call for you 10 days before and after your estimated due date. In addition to birth and labour support, I provide This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it./WhatsApp support for all of your pregnancy and postpartum questions. During the birth, I will be at your service from the moment you want me to be there, no matter if at home, birthing centre or hospital.
At our postpartum appointment, we’ll discuss how your family is adjusting, have a look back at the birth and share resources to give you and baby a peaceful postpartum period. Further meetings around the birth, birth bureaucracy, breastfeeding etc. are of course possible and will be charged separately.
I also offer postpartum companionship, which can be booked as a privately paid package or you can check with your doctor and health insurance if you qualify for their program of postpartum support. I am currently licensed to work with the most popular health insurances.
My aim is to provide non-judgmental, unbiased support for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or birth outcome.
(I work in German, English and Hebrew).

Natalie - "Having a baby in a country far away from home and not knowing the language was very scary for me when finding out I was pregnant. I instantly felt relieved after meeting Julia and I knew right away that having her as my doula would be a huge asset during my pregnancy and birth. She was very helpful throughout my pregnancy with suggestions and advice when we needed it and there is no way i" could have gotten through the birth without her there. She was with us the whole time (20 hours!!!) and helped with everything from translating, helping with hospital staff and ensuring we had good rooms etc, support, reminding me to breathe, drink and eat, checking everything was ok on the monitors while there was no midwife in the room and getting me in the right positions when I had no strength anymore. She was also a huge help to my partner offering him great advice and support. I definitely couldn't have gotten through this without her and cant recommend having her as a doula enough! Thank you Julia"
